Limited Edition Recycled Five Second Tape Loop
Cassette + Digital Album
A handmade five second recycled tape loop sourced from a Chivers audio book tape (Others by James Herbert). Each tape loop is packaged in a zip lock bag and includes two colour print outs printed onto card.

I would consider this particular loop configuration a very reliable one, but I cannot guarantee they will work on all players. Customers are more than welcome to use the recordings on their own copy for whatever project they like.

Self released in an edition of 15 hand-numbered copies.

Raw lo-fi hydrophone field recording tape loops documented in the River Yare and River Wensum (Norwich, Norfolk, UK). The recordings themselves were captured using a handmade 35mm mono piezo hydrophone connected to a Sony TCM-200DV. Each five second loop is crafted from a recycled audio book tape and features slightly different recordings captured at the same source.

The first two tracks are direct rips from my own loop played on a Sony TCM-939 (no effects or enhancements used), the second two tracks are the same loop played on a Sony TCM-200DV at half speed through a Behringer DR600 Digital Reverb Pedal.
