Microcassette from a Greek Answering Machine came about when a friend discovered a damaged microcassette on the floor whilst out walking in the suburbs of Agia Paraskevi (Greece). He kindly posted the microcassette to me; after receiving and repairing it just over three minutes of recordings were discovered: frenzied messages, background music/noise and typical beeps and chatter from the answering machine itself. An open call-out was advertised on the Electronic Cottage website, inviting members to download the found audio and rework it anyway they liked. Six artists responded: Frank Audiffret, Mike Nobody, Rinus Van Alebeek, Rafael González, Dylan Houser and myself.

Released on Quagga Curious Sounds as a 3"CDr in an edition of 38 hand-numbered copies.
